American Journal of Ultrasound

Aims and Scope

The Journal of American ultrasound is a peer-reviewed international journal on all aspects of medical ultrasound, including — but not limited to — the following fields:
- diagnostic ultrasound and ultrasound-guided therapies
- development in ultrasound technologies
- reviews and cases concerning Ultrasound diagnosis
- other issues, such as discussion of rare cases or difficult ultrasound diagnosis, can also be covered by the Journal, particularly when a multidisciplinary approach also involving one of the above fields is presented.
It publishes original articles, short communications, pictorial essays, case reports, reviews, letters to the Editor on the use of Ultrasounds in medicine.
The goal of the journal is to provide a cutting edge Journal which can give an insight in ultrasound allowing researchers and clinicians to promote developments in this technique, discuss cases and promote a correct use of ultrasound prompting good clinical practice worldwide.

We are working closely with many major databases to get the journal indexed and will gradually publish more index information of the journal.
